The first step is to get in touch with us, we invite you to set up an online preliminary, 30 minutes free consultation to share your ideas, and explore our design and build options. Once we have discussed your project and a custom build decision is made on a Tiny Space purchase we can get you on our build-out schedule. We break our complete builds down into 4 phases. Phase 1. Design and preparations. Phase 2. Vehicle Logistics. 3. The Buildout. 4. Completion.
Through the preliminary consultation process we will walk you through every aspect and feature that better suits your needs, which ends in a base quote with a non-refundable $2,500 fee for a Van conversion and a $5,500 for a tiny home, that can be used as part of your down payment of the total unit cost. If a custom build decision is made on a tiny home or a van conversion purchase we can get you on our build out schedule.
PHASE 01 : DESIGN PHASE
We will discuss every aspect of your conversion with you to ensure all the details are accounted for before beginning the build. This phase can take 2-3 weeks depending on your overall needs.
PHASE 02:
TINHY HOME BUILD LOGISTICS
In the case of a Tiny Home Purchase our team will begin all the logistics required to have everything that will be needed for your build out. From coordinating all the materials arrival to our facilities to ordering and receiving all the equipment required for your tiny home build. Please be aware that considering Covid-19 delays, shipping of the equipment ordered might take longer than expected, we will update you on this part.
VAN CONVERSION BUILD LOGISTICS
In the case of a van conversion, the price of the vehicle will be separated from the buildout price which will be directly agreed with the vehicle provider. You can either choose to bring your own vehicle to us or coordinate with one of our recommended dealers.
Upon receiving your vehicle. Our team will begin all the logistics required to have everything that will be needed for your build out. From coordinating the vehicle arrival to our facilities to ordering and receiving all the equipment required for the conversion of your vehicle. Please be aware that considering Covid-19 delays, shipping of the equipment ordered might take longer than expected, we will update you on this part.
PHASE 03: BUILDOUT
We begin with interior dismantlement, followed by, roughed-in electrical, roughed-in plumbing, (heating and cooling systems, the installation of insulation, roof features, flooring, etc.) all done under coding standards you chose for either (ANSI) or (IRC). Then interior coverings will be done and completed, following with the interior finishes like painting, cabinets, painting, appliances, electrical and plumbing fixtures, etc.
When it comes to compliance and building codes, the conversions are still coming into their own. Is a tiny home an RV that requires American National Standards Institute (ANSI) certification? Or is a tiny house a permanent dwelling that needs to be built according to International Residential Code (IRC)? We let the vehicle homeowner decide what specification they need for their situation.
We complete most tiny homes in about 3-6 months and most van conversions units in 6-12 weeks and medium to large size Skoolie projects take between 12-16 weeks from the time you bring your vehicle to our facility.
Complex projects may take a little longer, fine-tuning for the scope of work to be done, and the availability of the components selected.
Easy! After a personal, phone or online consultation, we will provide a quote and detailed estimate with the requested features and design specifications. We require a the correspondent, non-refundable deposit to secure a spot in our schedule that can be used as part of your down payment. Are you ready Let's Schedule it!(javascript:void(0))
